Maintenance account. Clerk will move monies from savings to main account to cover.

Old Business:

1) Dave Heywood, representing Hometown Pride, advised that they would like to buy banners for the streets of Randolph. Similar banners can be seen in surrounding towns. Dave also mentioned there may be residents who would like to donate monies to purchase them. The Council felt it was a good idea and Hometown Pride should proceed.

2) Dave also mentioned he has found sand to put around the Spinomi at the Park.

3) The Council reviewed the abatement status’ provided by the Fremont Magistrate Court. Council will continue to monitor.

4) The City is seeking bids on putting a new roof on the library and city garage. So far, no contractors have responded to requests for bids. It is the Council’s intent to have the library reroofed in the Spring and fix the ceiling tiles that have been damaged.

New Business:

1) French reported that she is working on the Annual Report. She attended a budget training in Harlan prior to the meeting which she found to be very helpful.

2) The City received the tax statement for the property at 203 S Washington Street. The Council discussed next steps involved in possibly selling the property.

3) French was notified by the State that increased funding will be sent to the Cities for Road Use taxes in 2016 due to the $.10 increase on gas taxes. Increased revenue estimate for Randolph is $2,315.

4) Hardy is sitting on the Fremont County Emergency Management Commission representing Randolph. The City should be expecting a 28E agreement that will need to be signed by the Mayor.

5) The City is looking into what can be done with the building on North side of street across from Earlywine’s. Siding is falling off the building. Mayor has been trying to reach owner without success.

A motion was made by Berger to adjourn the meeting, Hardy seconded. Meeting was adjourned at 8:09.
